So 2017 is here.

Normally I would make a resolution and try to stick to it. But let's be honest, it was always unrealistic and I had never really put ANY thought into the idea that a resolution should be something I want to actually accomplish. 2016 included a lot of growth and there was a lot of things I wanted to do that I didn't get to. Also, some things happened but I wasn't satisfied with the amount of those things happening. So I made a list. A list of things that I didn't do last year that kept nagging me, things that were always in the back of my mind. I also made a list of things I did last year but want to do more of this year. I made a list, and I going to try and stick to it. They are realistic and if I accomplish a few of them, I'll be pretty happy.

I'm trying to get out more and create. I want to create as much as I can (that's one of the things on my list). The first Monday of 2017 was yesterday. Yesterday was the second day of 2017, a brand new year. A blank canvas, if you will. How did I spend it? Creating. Hell yeah I did. I spent the morning with Riley shooting looks in new locations and in the afternoon I hit the road and travelled to Sussex to shoot some Free People looks with Luna. I hate the snow but (tried?) to embrace it. I got a few snowy shots with Riley and I'm into them, I can't wait to share. In Sussex, there was very little snow but lots of ice. We shot on the back roads and hiked up to the Bluffs, an amazing lookout spot and the lighting was too good. I've got some more personal projects coming up and I can't wait to share. What I will share right now is a couple sneak peeks from yesterday and a few of my goals for this year.
