I can't wait to share this with you (partly why I'm writing this post so quickly, lol). In February, I started a project for school using my 35mm film camera. Autumn was my first model for this project and the photos I took of her are some of my favourite, like EVER. Check them out here.
Autumn also does lashes - Beauty by Autumn. After a bit of thought about whether I actually wanted extensions I knew that I wanted Autumn to do them. During our shoot, she was so easy-going and I knew she would be perfect to go to for something I've never had done before, especially something like eyelash extensions.
I'll admit, I was a little nervous. I had zero idea of the process and what would be happening. Autumn was amazing. She told me everything she was doing as she was doing it, and made me feel super comfortable. It was actually really relaxing and I got to keep my eyes closed, which I didn't think I'd get to do for some reason lol. There was literally no better was to spend a Friday afternoon.
While Autumn was applying the lashes, I couldn't feel it at all. Before she started applying, she had to put pads where my bottom lashes were, so they didn't get in the way. Sometimes the pads can move and poke your eyes, which can be uncomfortable. Autumn kept asking me if the pads were poking me. They weren't, but I was glad she kept asking - it was such a really great atmosphere.
When Autumn was finished, I couldn't wait to look in the mirror. I was nervous to see what they looked like on me. I don't go full out with makeup and I never paint my nails, so this is something totally new for me. When I looked in the mirror, I was over the moon. I couldn't believe how good they looked and I'm so happy with the final result.
