I'm graduating from the craft college in June, so this term we get a lot of freedom when it comes to projects. I've been trying to push myself yet still stay true to my roots and build my portfolio. I don't have a permanent portfolio and feel like I won't have one for a long time. I'm still creating work that I want to add to my portfolio so if you visit here often, you'll see new images every now and then on my Photographs page.
My photoshoot with Kait actually was created for a school project. I've been wanting to do more indoor photoshoots but in a very specific style location. Something empty with an industrial feel - wood or concrete floors, white walls, and huge windows. Believe it or not, this is INCREDIBLY hard. That was the biggest challenge for this shoot. I'm very stubborn so finding the perfect location was key for making this project happen. Thankfully I found it. Precision Pilates located in the old Hartt Shoe Factory here in Fredericton. I set up a meeting with Cara - she was an angel and such a pleasure to deal with about using her location. I've always wanted to try pilates and when I met with Cara I wanted to try it even more. The space is so open and clean, and super welcoming.
